画这对门神的时候，我恰好在重新研究毕索，对立体派有了新的理解，所以这幅画的细节很耐看。有人说它有钢铁的质感，阳刚硬朗的同时，也能看到时间的锈迹，历史在眼前层层铺开。

后来这幅画被一位年轻的藏家收藏，他的家里有很多很酷的潮玩手办和前沿设计师家居，这幅画跟这些元素在一个空间里竟互相映衬、毫不违和。这些年我一直在探索如何激活古典符号，让其能够融入当下人的生活，这对门神画作是很好的案例。

The inspiration for these two pieces originated from the 'work-in-progress' images of my previous Door Gods series. When I shared the creative process on social media platforms, some viewers were captivated by the color palette of the intermediate stages, asking if I could create a new work based specifically on those hues. Thus, these paintings were born.

Artistic creation often unfolds this way: one must 'bring forth new ideas within the bounds of tradition, yet harbor profound truths beyond the realm of unbridled boldness.' As the colors shifted, new challenges emerged, sparking deeper reflections and a more nuanced understanding of the Door God iconography. I continue to seek a fresh artistic language—one that grants traditional motifs greater plasticity and a sense of 'youthful vitality.'
